Energy

Liberalised energy markets are facing increasing regulation and regulative scrutiny. Complex energy legislative framework demands the integrated knowledge that we possess. To our clients active in energy markets, such as producers, suppliers, traders, consumers or system operators, banks, financial institutions and others, who seek their business opportunities in energy markets, we render innovative business solutions and help them overcome the challenges of the complex regulative demands.

We advise with regard to the entry into the Slovenian power and gas markets, trading and reporting obligations. We represent clients in disputes regarding the access to the system before the Slovenian Regulatory Authority and the Court. We are specialised in the renewables and the Slovenian feed-in support scheme for RES/CHP.

With experience in the field of energy regulative framework, we also give advice on, or assist with drafting the energy regulations. The energy team members of the firm have extensive knowledge and experience on regulatory and corporate/commercial law/ issues in the energy sector.
